If you have a toy car that needs paint or body work, you cannot go wrong by taking it to the newly established DIAMONDBACK RESTORATION in LaVernia ( about 20 minutes SE of San Antonio,TX.,on HWY 87 ).
Kenny Hinton and his wife Eloise run the place, and Kenny's work is absolutely first class. He has enormous experience in auto body repair, restoration and painting. Ken and his crew performed spot body and paint repair, (and buffing), on two of my cars in the past month: a 1929 Ford Station Wagon and a 1931 Ford Deluxe Roadster, (see pics on left). In both cases Diamondback turned a 20-year-old (wagon), and a 30-year-old (roadster) paint job into antique cars that look like they were painted just yesterday. Amazing ! His prices are very reasonable and he gets projects in and out of his shop quickly. No more 12-24 month paint jobs. You can pay more...and you can wait longer. Your choice. But you won't be more satisfied with anyone else. Diamondback is absolutely the best !
