30 Coupe, Chicle
1930 Ford Model A Coupe, Chicle & Copra
Photo Gallery 1
This vehicle was restored mainly by Ken himself. The paint work was done by our painter Richard. It is refinished with Chicle Drab and Copra Drab. After many hours of love and attention, this vehicle won a "MARC of Excellence" award in Williamsburg VA. in 2007.
It then won a "Master Restorer" award in Dallas,TX. in 2008, a joint event with MARC AND MAFCA.
MARC = Model A Restorers Club
MAFCA = Model A Ford Club of America
Both of these shows were national events. It had previously won "Best in Class" and "Best in Show" at three local car shows.
This beauty will be judged again in 2009 at the MARC national meet in Merrillville, Indiana where both we and the owner seek the highly coveted
"Henry" award. The highest award given by either club. This is one of the funnest automotive restorations we have done.
